Cara Dodge passionately explores innovative techniques to engage museum visitors and believes in the valuable roles museums play in our communities and lives. She serves the Exponential Center as program coordinator, where she facilitates the work of the Computer History Museum’s new center focused on entrepreneurship and innovation in Silicon Valley and around the world. Previously, Cara built her passion for museums through positions at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC, as well as in California at NASA Ames Research Center and The Tech Museum of Innovation, where she was responsible for the creation, development, and implementation of a number of public education experiences. She honed her museum craft most recently at John F. Kennedy University, where she earned dual master’s degrees in museum studies and business administration in 2016. Cara earned her undergraduate degree from Smith College in 2007, where she majored in astronomy and music.
