Deep Junior is a computer chess program authored by Israeli programmers Shay Bushinsky and Amir Ban and won the World Computer Chess Championships in 2002 and 2004. Designed to run on a personal computer it calculates about 2-3 million combinations per second. In 2003 Deep Junior played a 6-game match against World Chess Champion Garry Kasparov which resulted in a 3-3 tie.
