Description:

By the early 1980s, computer software companies and others began selling dedicated chess computers and boards. Some consumer chess board included interesting features, such as the Novag Robot Adversary which used a robotic arm to move the chess pieces for the computer. It was programmed by David Kittinger and used a Z-80 processor.
