Description
This is a black and white image of several factories located in Maynard, Massachusetts. DEC rented some of the buildings in 1957 and eventually purchased the entire mill complex around 1960. There are two large smokestacks on the right of the image. The second from left smokestack is spewing black smoke. This is a daytime shoot as light is coming from the sky. Written on white label on verso side is "Kindly include 'Courtesy of Maynard Historical Society'". Written in black pen on verso side is "6387-38".
