Description

This is a four-color brochure for the Friden 130 electronic calculator. The front cover has a color illustration of a space shuttle, satellite, and earth in space. In the center towards the right there is a box and in it is a color illustration of the calculator and equations written on a chalkboard. The inside cover has a color photograph of the 130 calculation, with the title "The totally new Friden 130 Electronic Calculator." Following is a section about the exclusive feature of the Friden 130, automatic transfer of intermediate answers. The calculator has automatic storage of intermediate answers which saves time and reduces errors. Following are three example problems for commercial; financial; scientific. Each problem writes out the calculation and then beneath it lists each step on the calculator to come up with the answer. Following is a section that describes each of the 11-keyboard buttons. The buttons are OVER-FLOW LOCK; CLEAR ENTRY; CHANGE SIGN; ENTER; REPEAT; MULTIPLICATION; DIVISION; KEYBOARD; DECIMAL POINT; PLUS; RECALL; MINUS; STORE; DECIMAL POINT SELECTOR; CLEAR ALL. The following section describes the register display. Following is a list of key features of the calculator. Following is a section elaborating on each of the key features of the calculator. On the back cover there are black and white photographs of the calculator as well as specifications.
