Description
Bisser Dimitrov was born in Bulgaria, where he received EE and MBA college degrees, and worked for the Bulgarian foreign trade organization known as ISOT, later Isotimpex. After WWII, the USSR established the Comecon trading organization for the Eastern Bloc, with computer disk drive and tape drive manufacturing assigned to Bulgaria. Bisser Dimitrov was responsible for trading arrangements for these products throughout the Eastern Bloc, including the USSR, and reviews these activities in this oral history.
