Several entries related to “Another MOS sense amplifier scheme” (pp. 22, 26 and 33) form the basis for U.S. patent 3983412, below. This book includes a loose copy of a disclosure pertinent to 4K CMOS DRAM technology made to Philips on 1972-09-26.

Biographical Notes

Roger Badertscher attended the University of Michigan from 1958 to 1968 where he earned a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. He worked as design engineer and manager at Fairchild from 1969-1975. He joined Zilog in 1975 and rose to General Manager of the Components Division before leaving for Signetics Corporation to become VP of the MOS Division in 1979. He served as President of the Home Computer Division of Atari in 1980 and co-founded personal computer-based graphics start‐up Mindset Corporation in 1982.
