Description

Daniel Quernemoen is the retired CEO and chairman of Fluoroware, which merged with Empak to form Entegris in 1999. Other Fluoroware management positions Quernemoen has held include vice president of sales and marketing, sales manager, and president of the company’s California subsidiary. Earlier in his career, he was the owner of Q & W Plastics, a plastic molding company acquired by Fluoroware in 1967. Before that, he spent 15 years as general manager of Booker & Wallestad, a division of Thermotech Industries, responsible for the manufacture of the semiconductor industry’s first wafer carriers. Quernemoen has served as a member of the SEMI board of directors and was SEMI chairman in 1989.
