"An American Association for the Advancement of Science and Association of Computing Machinery blue ribbon panel puts forth the basics of the Information Superhighway discussing definitions, foundations and basic policy issues. Six panelists explore the most urgent issues concerning the National Information Infrastructure (NII), Internet, Global Internet, and what they have in common. After a brief presentation by each panelist, they discuss and debate the issues. In the following question and answer period the audience adds insight to the discussion.
