Description

From University Video Communications' catalog:

"The move towards clustered computing will require new System Area Networks for interprocessor communications and for sharing I/O devices. SANs must be designed with low latency, high bandwidth, scalability, reliability and low cost. This lecture presents the requirements for SANs and examines the detailed design tradeoff made in designing the ServerNet SAN. Included are discussions of the physical layer, packet protocol, flow control wormhole routing, network interfaces, and interconnect topologies."
