From University Video Communications' catalog:"Hewlett-Packard has designed a new superscalar PA-RISC processor, the PA7100LC, that’s targeted toward low-cost systems while achieving high-performance levels. It includes two integer ALU's, a floating point coprocessor, and a memory and I/O controller on a single VLSI chip. It implements several new features including multimedia-specific instructions. The cache system consists of an external combined instruction/data cache and a smaller internal instruction cache. Memory consists of standard DRAM's or SIMM's directly connected to the processor."
