Description

The object is a computer server chassis and enclosure. It has one 8" floppy drive at the top of the front. Below the floppy drive is a cartridge-type tape drive with an access slot for the tape, but no controls. The front is blank below the tape slot, where the internal hard drive is mounted. The top portion of the rear has a fan, a power cord socket, and a double toggle switch for on off. This power arrangement is suggestive of a 220V 2-phase supply, but nothing is labeled with power requirements. There are also two 25-pin female D-type connectors and a round 5-pin keyboard-type connector. The lower portion of the back is a card bay containing two columns of 16 card slots each. Eighteen of these slots are populated with Z80 microprocessor boards matching the separately cataloged "Molecular computer circuit board", #102711790.
