Description

This is a black and white of a woman wearing a dress sitting down at a console of an IBM SSEC calculating machine. She is facing away from the camera with her head pointing to the left side of the image. Light is coming from the overhead ceiling. The background consists of the SSEC machine against the walls. Verso side of image contains a large white label at the right edge with text stating "(c) The Computer History Museum History Center Contact us for reproduction rights: media@tcm.org +1 415 604 2575". This large white label has covered up a partially written text in green ink which reads "NOS 63" and stamped text "Please credit IBM Archives". Also written on verso side in pencil along the top edge is "#1327 Copy 1". At the center on the verso side of image is a small white label with writing in blue ink stating "cut#174 R</LK/AG @ Interface/Ross 7/7". Bottom of verso side of image in black pen ink is "IBM SSEC". The post-it note on verso side reads "Cut #174 RM/LK/AG @ Interface /Ross 7/7".
