Description

Julius Blank joined Shockley Semiconductor Labs in 1956 and eighteen months later was one of the so-called Traitorous Eight who left to establish Fairchild Semiconductor. During his career at Fairchild, Blank traveled the world setting up new manufacturing facilities to meet growing demand for transistors and ICs. In this interview he talks about his career spanning from Shockley Labs to leaving Fairchild.
