Contains a single core array with very small cores strung with 2 wires only. Core array is about 5 in by 6 in. Core and some electronics are mounted on daugher board. Support electrionics appears to be small-scale TTL and discrete transistors. Etched on upper right corner is, "DGC NOVA 2 8K MEMORY." Handwritten on the the inside of box lid is, "8K (8192 bytes) 64,000 bits. core memory from Data General Nova 2. Circa 1982."
