A piece of paper attached to the object reads "Univac-Larc 1959 Core memory drive transformer. Supplied a 2 msec wide, 10 amp pulse to the core inhibit (z) windings. Driven by a transmitting tube (4CX250B) and cooled in an oil bath". Object was found in a box labeled "LARC & DEC & IBM PARTS".
