This is a black and white image. There are three men standing in front of a computer made by UNIVAC. On the back of the image is a typed description that reads: "Dause L. Bibby (center), President of the Remington Rand Division of the Sperry Rand Corporation, explains the operation of Unicall, a voice reply computer inquiry set, to Dr. John W. Mauchly (left), President of Mauchly Associates, Inc., and J. Presper Eckert, Vice President of Remington Rand, co-inventors of ENIAC, the first electronic computer. The new device is the first to send inquiries and receive voice replies to questions asked of a computer, which may be located thousands of miles away. Unicall was announced during the dedication of the Remington Rand UNIVAC Engineering Center in Whitpain Township, Pennsylvania, October 12, 1961.
