A pioneer of the internet and key figure in the WorldWideWeb project (later renamed Nexus), Jean-Francois Groff provides a detailed account of his career and contributions. The focus of this interview is on his time at CERN and his collaboration with Tim Berners-Lee. Groff goes on to discuss his career after leaving CERN in 1992, first working for Steve Jobs at NeXT Computer. Jobs offered him a position in R&D in California but Groff opted to stay in Geneva and began his own company building web systems for other institutions.
