Description

In the fall of 1962, Texas Instruments, Inc. won a contract to develop and produce 13 custom circuits for the Autonetics, Minuteman II missile guidance platform. This was the industry’s first major custom integrated circuit design program and presented the company with many new engineering challenges. By 1965, the Minuteman program overtook NASA’s Apollo procurement as the largest single consumer of ICs. Object consists of 12 ICs in a plastic case.
