Description

This prototype two-axis joystick was used in digitizing images generated by high energy physics experiments. There is fiberglass filament tape that is wrapped around the interior end of the control stick to take up slack in the mechanism. The connecting wires on the two Allen Bradley potentiometers have been removed.
