Object appears to be a form of experimental construction for a magnetic disk as a component of a magnetic disk drive. From pieces of this object it appears that the disk was to be constructed using thin plastic-backed magnetic material to be cemented to a rigid plastic disk. In it's present form, the plastic magnetic material is not longer fastened to the base disk.
