The object is a simple rectangular box with a metal bottom and a translucent plastic top. The top has silk screened lettering providing name and manufacturer and the label "off hook", positioned over an internal LED indicator. The right end has two connectors, one for a telephone cable and for a 10-pin ribbon cable.
