When companies decide to offer shares to the public, they have an Initial Public Offering (IPO). Cisco co-founder Sandy Lerner wore this dress to her company's IPO on February 16, 1990. Lerner herself made the dress, which incorporates $100 bills in the fabric. At the IPO party, a string quartet played "We're in the Money!" Forbes magazine considered the Cisco IPO the top performing IPO of the 1990s.
