Biographical Notes

Dan O. Davis worked in wafer processing engineering for Texas Instruments in the early 1960s. He joined Fairchild circa 1963 to work on the development of epitaxial silicon technology. Circa 1970 he joined start-up Litronix Inc. in Cupertino, California, as director of product development responsible for LED displays and other optoelectronic devices based on GaAs material. In 1975 he founded ITAC Corp. in Santa Clara, California.
