The object is a humorous caricature, probably of Gordon Bell, sitting on the beach with his laptop computer and participating in a business conference call. The object consists of many pieces glued together. Several of the smaller pieces have come unglued, but apparently none are missing. The unattached objects are packaged with the main portion of the object. On the front of the object on the bottom is the string " THE TRUTH BEHIND TELEPRESENCE" and "JAMES MALIA [C] '99." On the back of the object are "JAMES MALIA FUN ART 805 684-3124" and a cartoon done in black paint. Attached to the back of the object are two screws with picture-hanging wire attached to each.
