overall: 16 1/4 in x 23 in x 18 in
The object is a punched card reader. It has a sloping top deck with an input card stacker on the upper right which feeds left to the read mechanism and then to an output card stacker on the lower left. The upper left has a control panel of sorts with three pushbuttons, labeled "POWER", "STOP", and "RESET", and four indicator lights in a row. There is a metal logo/brand name label on the front which reads "Business Records Corp." On the back are two toggle switches and a lamp test pushbutton. One switch is labeled "SHUT DOWN" with positions "MAN" and "AUTO". The other switch is labeled "MODE" with positions "REMOTE" and "LOCAL". There is also a 38-pin blade-pin data connector and a center-ground 3-pin twist-lock power connector.
