The object is a large metal panel with 31 BNC connectors and one multi-pin male connector. There are sockets for 28 vacuum tubes of which 12 are populated. On the back of the panel, there are two sets of indicator lights, one red and one clear. Seven vacuum tubes have fallen out of their sockets and have been packaged separately and attached to the object; their socket numbers (written on the side of the tubes) are V-2 (2), V-18, V-24, V-25, V26, and one with no V-number.
