The object is a module with nine sockets all but one contain vacuum tubes. One of the sockets is plugged. All the tubes are framed by a metal handle. In the chassis there are 11 phenolic circuit boards. The boards are wired to male connectors at the bottom of the chassis. Also printed on the chassis are two inspection stamps reading "K IBM" followed by a number.
