Description

Object is a frame bearing six large glass thyratron tubes (General Electric GL-5855). Evidently part of the power supply, intended to rectify 220VAC 3-phase into direct current. (Note the museum has an individual GL-5855 as artifact 102718245.) There are also 6 fuses rated at 250V, 50A. Some of the fuses have labels identifying them as "F102 50A" and similar. Projecting from the back are brackets holding four large ceramic resistors.
