This module has a white label on which is written "Star. Typical multi purpose 120 pack and basically for multiply, divide and square root". The module consists of 2 circuit boards connected by edge jumpers on 3 sides. The boards have separate blue connectors. Each board has a 60 pack IC (total 120 pack), terminator resistors, delay lines and capacitors. The hand written label indicates it is from the STAR - 100 supercomputer. This was made by CDC and 2 were sold to LLNL. This STAR (String Array) supercomputer improved performance (100 MFLOPS) on some scientific applications by using a vector processor.
