Description

The object is a multi-platter disk drive with a removable disk pack. This object has no disk pack mounted. On the front left is an emblem labeled "MHD A." On the front right are three indicator buttons labeled: "START," "0," and "FAULT." Removing the front panel reveals a card cage populated with transistor electronic modules. On the right side of the inside front are manufacturer labels for both Control Data Corporation (CDC) and Systems Engineering Laboratory (SEL). Removing the back panel reveals a power supply which rolls out on drawer-type rollers. The back of the power supply has an SEL property tag and a deprecated CHM catalog number bar code tag.
