This unit consists of a single cabinet with a handle, lights, switches, and gauges on the front. Two signs affixed to the top of the front indicated that "Normal" is on the left and "Standby" is on the right. Beneath the Normal sign are two gauges labeled "amperes" and "volts." Beneath these are two switches labeled "Ammeter" and "Voltmeter." Beneath these is a frequency gauge. Beneath the gauge is a red light labeled "Voltage on Load." Beneath this is an on/off switch. An identical set of lights, switches and gauges are under the "Standby" sign.
