The object is a combination tape reader and punch. There is a panel at the front of the machine with four buttons and two dials. The buttons read, "Reader Stop," "Reader Power," "Tape Feed," and "Punch Power." The two dials to the right of the button read. on the top of the object read TYPEWRITER READER and TYPEWRITER PUNCH. Dark brown, 7/8-inch paper tape is still attached on the "read" side. Inside the machine is a name plate identifying it as "Royal Precision High Speed Reader and Punch." Inside there is a card deck with two tripple inverter cards. Each card has various components and three vacuum tubes. There is also a control circuit card, which also has various components and three vacuum tubes. There is a diode logic card that has a switch on the edge of the card. To the left of the cards is a tall rectangular box that comes completely out.
