This folder includes a paper about the Selective Sequence Electronic Calculator (SSEC) written by McPherson in 1948, which was not printed until 1982 when it was included in the Annals of the History of Computing. Also included are correspondence between McPherson and the Annals about the paper, articles and correspondence from the 1960s about the SSEC and its applications for weather prediction and tracking the moon, and W. J. Eckert's 1967 IBM research report "The Motion of the Moon." Includes "A large-scale, general-purpose electronic digital calculator"
