These folders include the "University of California Computing Plan, 1977-82," which was created to develop methodologies for providing computing capacity and services throughout the UC system. Also included are LLNL policies relating to use of equipment, human resources policies, correspondence regarding preserving the films produced at LLNL, drafts of institutional plans, reports to and from the U.S. Department of Energy, and correspondence and planning documents between members of the Publications Committe -- along with conference proceedings relevant to their endeavors. Folder 9 (of 11) in this set contains disparate materials relating to the Univac, the U.S. Naval Ordnance Test Station in China Lake (California), and classification policies at LLNL -- which were previously bound together and labeled "Poop Sheets."
