The record contains a Whirlwind I module with two vacuum tubes, type 6145, attached to a chassis. The chassis has a handle at the top. At the bottom of the module there is a male connector. On either side of the chassis are two spring locking metal screws attached to brackets. Contained within the chassis are six phenolic boards with various components soldered on.
