The last quarter inch of the shaft has a smaller diameter than the rest and has been placed off center. There was a Post It note attached to the object which read: "Tool for adjusting pring hammers on IBM 1403 printer." These words were crossed out. "Lot X4575.2008 Print magnet flight training tool." was written beneath the crossed out words.
