Description
This record contains one Whirlwind indicator panel mod II. The object is a metal panel apparently designed to bolt to a larger object. On the front of the panel there are 32 light bulb sockets, the majority of which have broken bulbs: 5 of the sockets have no bulbs, 5 of the sockets have bulbs, and the rest have broken bulbs. Printed in white on the front of the panel are INDICATOR PANEL MOD II and M.I.T. DIGITAL COMPUTER LAB, which is partially obscured by a sticker. There are two black plaques attached to the front of the panel; one at the bottom says, "GSR," and one at the top says, "AUX. DRUM". There are three black plastic strips attached to the front of the panel. On the back of the object are 2 terminal strips. Attached to the terminal strips is a board containing integrated circuits.
