Object is a rack mounted reel-to-reel paper tape reader. There is an added metal box on the back, housing two large capacitors and labeled with an engraved red plastic tag reading "DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE." These capacitors are wired to the main unit through a 3-pin connector and socket on the back of the object. There are 2 other sockets also on the back of the object.
