The object had contained a note from Peter Moseley that states: "Prototype X-Y recorder made by Francis L. Moseley in his basement in Washington, D.C. in1939. It was the first use of two servo systems to drive independent axes to record two related voltages and represent the relationship between the two variables." This note has been placed in the lot file.
