Description

The object is a clear plastic box filled with various integrated circuits (ICs), transistors, resistors, capacitors, and a 7 segment display. There is also an IC puller and a bag of color coded hook-up wires of various lengths. These accessories are used with the Heath Digital Design Experimenter.

These accessory components plug into the proto area of the Digital Design Experimenter. Each of the included ICs implements a different logic funtion. For example, the IC labled DM7400N implements four 2 input not-and (NAND) gates. By using the jumper wires to connect the ICs pins to the devices on the work surface, the functions of the IC can be studied.
