The cradle provides a location to rest the tablet when not in use. While resting in the cradle, the batteries in the tablet are recharged if required. The cradle also contains a USB port, which supports a mouse or keyboard. When the tablet is in the cradle, the user can plug a mouse into one of the USB ports, either on the tablet or the cradle, and a keyboard into the other. This transforms the WebPAD system into a more traditional desktop system. This object includes two wire brackets and a plastic base. The brackets plug into holes in the plastic base.
