IBM-PC Requirements: IBM 80386 or 80486-based computer or compatible; at least 2 megabytes of extended memory (not expanded for LIM); an 80x87 floating-point coprocessor, compatible with the system; a serial port (for non-networked versions) or a parallel port (for networked versions); at least one high-density floppy drive; a fixed disk with at least 10 megabytes of free space; Microsoft MS-DOS 3.0 or later (5.0 recommended); a color or monochrome display and compatible adapter for the IBM-PC. If you are using the Mid-Analysis "Snoop" feature to run Probe on the interim simulation results, you will need an additional 1 megabyte of extended memory. Windows Requirements: You cannot use network versions of the Windows Design Center programs under WindowsNT. The Design Center will run on any IBM 80386/'486-based PC, or compatible, with the following features: 640 kilobytes of DOS (low) memory; at least 4 megabytes of extended memory (not expanded or LIM) for a Stand-alone Schematics installation (at least 8 megabytes or more is recommended for use of Design Center with schematic capture); and 80x87 floating-point coprocessor, compatible with the system; Win32s files, version 1.15 or later (provided with the Design Center diskettes); a mouse; a parallel port (or a serial port if you are installing an upgrade to the single-user version); at least one high-density floppy drive; MS-DOS 3.0 or later (5.0 recommended); VGA, EGA, or most other displays (color and monochrome) supported by Microsoft Windows; Microsoft Windows 3.1 or later, installed and running in 386 advanced mode; Note: If you are installing a network version of the Design Center using Novell Netware on a 386 file server, you must have V3.0 of the Novell software (or later).
