There are four main sections/chapters in this book. The first is titled, "A sexagesimal table, exhibiting at sight, in minutes, seconds, and tenths of a second, the result of any proportion, where the first term is 60 minutes, the second term any number of minutes under 60 minutes, and the third term any number of minutes and seconds under 60 minutes." The second section, beginning on page 241 is titled "A table of the equation of second difference, for correcting the equations of the planetary motions." The third section, beginning on page 253, is titled "Tables for turning the lower denominations of English money, weights, and measures, into sexagesimals of the highest and vice versa, for reducing sexagesimals of the higher denominations to the lower denominations." The fourth section, beginning on page 261, is titled "A millesimal table of proportional parts, adapted to sexagesimal proportions, exhibiting, at sight, the result of any proportion, where the first term is 60 minutes, the second term any number under 60 minutes, and the third term any absolute number under 1000."
