A Novation modem with homebrew modifications. These modifications include an RS-232-C port for serial connection to a dial-up computer account. Has letters "E" (for ear) and "M" (for mouth) engraved into device beside the appropriate cup. Also has telephone numbers (644 6566 and 644-1286 written in pencil. "May 9 1973" stamped onto PCB bottom layer, but IC date codes are at least 1975. Estimated speed: 300bps.
