These decade counter tubes were used in a variety of digital counting systems, including early Remington-Rand UNIVAC computers. These tubes were the second generation of integral vacuum tube counting tubes, employing electromagnetic deflection. Written on masking tape on the object is "SKIP #9 when WARM".
