Description

The first ever hand-held calculator, introduced at $395, offered tremendous advances in computational power, performing log, trig, and other math functions at a single keystroke, thereby eliminating the need for log or trig tables. The design of the calculator was supervised by Bill Hewlett who tested device prototypes by throwing them across his office and checking that they still worked!
