Description
Burroughs B-500 Magnetic Tape Cluster with 4 stations. Each station has a take-up reel and a feed reel on a coaxial spindle. Tape was threaded from the feed reel past the read/write head via a vacuum channel through the take-up reel. There is a bag of the broken plastic covers attached to the unit. Maintenance tag has dates from 1967, 1968, and 1969.
