This heavy duty steel rack has the drum unit mounted at the top. The card cage is below the drum. The bottom contains the power supply and fan. The card cage contains 20 transistor modules plugged in. A panel of toggle switches is in the middle of the front of the unit. The manufacturer's tag indicates the drum has 512 tracks and runs at 3420 RPM. Note: PDP-1 Model 34 Display Unit included (but no evidence of accessioning) on Accession Receipt. Model 34 Display Unit assigned X788.86 until clarification / reconciliation possible. D.S. 10/8/98.
