ABOUT CORE

The Computer History Museum has published its biannual publication Core since the winter of 1999. Spring 2006 marks the advent of an updated design in both print and web formats. Click here for a list of back issues The print version appeals to a wide range of audiences and focuses on beautiful imagery and intensive content. Core delights readers of all ages and interest levels and directs them toward a deeper understanding of computing history. It launches them into an exploration of the museum’s vast collection, either by visiting in person or through more in-depth exploration on the web. The online version features all of the content from the print version plus additional web content that is highlighted in a section called “enCore.” Here, readers find audio files, transcripts, links to online exhibits, and other information intended to supplement and enhance their experience of Core. To subscribe, simply become a member of the museum, and you will continue to enjoy this great learning adventure!
